Our take
The Ergatta Luxe is a premium rower that feels like a piece of furniture. The water resistance is incredibly smooth and quiet—much more engaging than magnetic. The 15-inch touchscreen and gaming workouts keep me motivated. Setting up took about an hour, and filling the tank was easy. At 105 lb full, it's heavy but rolls nicely on transport wheels. The wood construction is beautiful but shows scratches. The price is steep at $2,000, but the build quality and interactive platform justify it for dedicated rowers. My only gripe: the screen can lag occasionally.
